Widad El Hanafi | Managing Director     @Woodalisa




Widad El Hanafi is a consultant for programs of international cooperation. From February 2008 to December 2012 Widad was commissioned by the Institute for International Education:

- To manage the Women in Technology program (WIT-Women in Technology) in Morocco, a program that aims to strengthen the capacities of women and promote their participation in the labor market by providing NGOs and the women they serve with  advanced curricula and training opportunities in the New Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Professional Development, Blogging, Entrepreneurship, and planning for sustainability projects.
- To manage the e-mediat Morocco program, which aims to strengthen the capacities of NGOs through new technologies and social media.
- To promote the TechWomen program in Morocco and Algeria and ensure the implementation of the TechWomen delegation's visits to Morocco,
- To train NGOs and representatives of civil society on planning for sustainability and Entrepreneurship in Tunisia in the Women's Enterprise for Sustainability Program (WES).

In December 2012, Widad launched Consutling for Success (C4S), a consulting agency that provides a variety of consulting services that range from delivering training curriculums, the design and implementation of international cooperation programs, promoting business development, Social entrepreneurship and local development.


Widad has extensive experience in the design and implementation of marketing and communication strategies for programs and organizations.

In 2003, Widad received her Master's degree in International Studies and Diplomacy from Al Akhawayn University. As part of her end of studies research project, Widad conducted a three-month internship at the headquarters of the Arab League in Cairo Egypt.

After graduating from Al Akhawayn University, she worked in the field of governance and democracy with the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs (NDI-Morocco).

She also participated in the Law & Business Fellowship Program (LBFP) launched by the Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) for the period 2005-2006 in the United States. During this program, Widad received an Executive MBA from the Duke University and then completed a three-month internship in the field of lobbying and strategic planning with Collins & Company in Arlington Virginia.

Widad participated as a speaker in several conferences and seminars focused on strengthening women capacity and youth social entrepreneurship and social media use. She also participated in the observation mission of the Palestinian elections organized by the NDI in May 2005.

Widad conducted business activities in several countries in the MENA region, including Egypt, Jordan, Palestine, United Arab Emirates, Algeria, Lebanon and Tunisia.

Jamil graduated from the Erasmus Mundus European Master in Tourism Management (EMTM), which is a joint Master's degree from three European universties, in 2011. In his thesis, Jamil conducted a research on Entrepreneurship and SMEs in tourism in developing countries, focusing on the case of the city of Fes.
After his graduation he worked as a program assistant for different developmenet programs and helped design and implement several training curriculums and development strategies for local NGOs.
He is a social media enthusiast and interested in the areas of entrepreneurship, tourism, training curriculum design and new IT. Jamil is actually the Training Coordinator at the C4S agency.
